Vancouver Styled Shoot on the Shoreline

If you notice something familiar about this crisp Vancouver shoreline session by Christie Graham Photography, that's because you've seen both model Cody Cochrane, and jewelry designs by Anne Sportun, featured on Vale + Vine before.   Christie's Cozy Winter Wedding Inspiration shoot was one of Vale + Vine's first posts showcasing Christie's photography, and every time her work comes across my desk, my eyes light up because I know something unexpected is about to come my way.  This time: debonair attire for a dapper urban groom blended with the flowing, floral style of a West Coast free-spirit.  A perfect blend of what Vancouver style represents -- a total comfort with all that is both urban and natural.

Today's post features a workshop session in which Christie provided her client with a fully styled wedding shoot, featuring some of Vancouver's top vendors.  Her one-on-one workshops offer classroom sessions with an emphasis on business, branding, portfolio reviews, post-production and the process of creating fine art portraiture.  This is a great educational opportunity for photographers looking to hone their craft, learn more about natural light photography, and gain valuable portfolio imagery,

I thought this shoot by Christie was a perfect prelude to Christmas with its ruby hues and stylish men's tailoring.  I'm also delighted to see this session be the first to accompany Vale + Vine's fresh new look!  What do you think?  I would love to hear your feedback!  Remember to subscribe for updates and news on Vale + Vine's official launch week in the new year.
