If there's a Vancouver setting I love most for its ability to host an outdoor wedding without a backup rain location, it's Hycroft Manor. Elegant and photogenic both on the inside and out, with an enormous portico offering protection from the elements yet still affording opportunities for naturally lit photographs, Hycroft Manor is an ideal setting for a wedding that blends nature and elegance at the heart of one of North America's most vibrant cities. During Vale + Vine's celebration week marking 50 posts, and almost 3 months of life online, I couldn't be more pleased to feature Julian + Thanh's wedding photographed by Adrian Michael, who has so generously supported Vale + Vine throughout its beginnings. He's had some terribly popular features published on Vale + Vine, and I hope this elegant affair will offer up some new inspiration for those who love Adrian's work. If you've missed seeing some of Adrian's most popular work on Vale + Vine, you can check out an artistic woodland engagement shoot here and an unconventional prairie wedding here). Also, stay tuned as every afternoon (Pacific Standard Time) this week I'll be posting in Vale + Vine's News section regarding a new element I'm adding to the blog or the Vale + Vine community. Yesterday's post was all about a new curated vendor guide coming soon. I hope you'll take a peek to see what's coming down the pipe!
