Snowy Rocky Mountain Engagement

As we round the corner into the season of engagements, along with the Christmas holidays, (not to mention weather, in much of the northern hemisphere) this snowy engagement session set in the Canadian Rockies is the perfect inspiration for couples planning winter engagement photos. With its dramatic setting, cozy wardrobe, (that wine-coloured pea-coat though!) authentic love, and the palest of pink light, winter couldn't come across as anything but romantic. And while the weather may truly be frightful wherever you are, (I'm writing this from just outside San Francisco where I'm longing for the last of the leaves to fall and just willing tiny white flakes to uncharacteristically commence falling on this not-so-frightful December day) hopefully you can take comfort in the assurance that the temperatures will rise just a smidge, the light will paint the sky just right, and you too can bask in the glow of love on a snowy winter's day.
