Winter Cottage Wedding Inspiration

For those of you who might have noticed and wondered, I did indeed take a slight step back from blogging this past month to gain a bit of perspective, reorient the direction of Vale + Vine, as well as care for my newborn who needed some extra attention over the past couple of weeks.  It felt strange, after a year and a half, to slow things down so much, but the reprieve was much needed and I'm really excited about where Vale + Vine is heading.  I want to be more selective about the inspiration I show, share more artisans' work and support small businesses better, and cultivate authentic relationships with vendors and brides along the way.  I hope you enjoy the results as the look and content of Vale + Vine evolves in the future.  In the meantime, please don't hesitate to leave comments and offer suggestions!  And don't forget to follow Vale + Vine on Instagram for all the latest updates and inspiration.

Now that I'm back in the proverbial saddle, I thought I'd start off by sharing a winter/holiday inspired styled shoot from Ontario's Great Lakes region.  It might seem counterintuitive to share snowy backdrops and cranberry red accents, but heaven knows all the winter brides out there don't start their planning come October!  So for those dreaming of a wintery wonderland as their ideal wedding backdrop, here's an elegant yet rustic styled shoot to pique your interest.
