Minimalist Bohemian Bridal Inspiration

Simple bridal vibes meets bohemian, whimsical spontaneity is what this gorgeous inspiration shoot from Amy Creech brings to the table. We were immediately drawn to the style of her work - who says weddings can’t be editorial, right? Warm hues compliment the desert-like foliage gathered in the prairies for the ultimate eye candy. Here’s what Amy had to say about her inspiration:

“This shoot was inspired by the beautiful desert-like sandhills in the middle-of-nowhere, Saskatchewan. I’d been itching to shoot there for a couple years, and decided to put together a last-minute styled bridal session with another photographer friend, Kaleigh Johns. Together, in two weeks, we arranged the details and found a stunning model to pull it all off. The three of us piled into my minivan and drove three hours to find the hills, which turned out to be quite the task. It felt as though we were driving aimlessly through farmer’s fields until finally we noticed the gravel road turning into sand. When we came upon the stunning hills, nestled in trees, brush and surrounding fields, they were glowing in the late afternoon sun. It was as though we had stepped into another place far from the prairies. We wanted the collection of images to feel wild and a little edgy, laid-back and carefree, with a massive wild bouquet, simple dress, wind-tussled hair and bare feet. To add interest, we included a wicker peacock chair and bull skull lent to us from a local hunter.”
