Okanagan Blossom Inspiration

Spring across Canada is rife with blossoms, pastel hues, and a rich landscape bursting at the seams with nature's most brilliant artistry.  British Columbia's Okanagan Valley is especially reputed for it's verdant hills spilling over with fruit blossoms as her wide swaths of orchards come to life after winter.  Sage to Sea Photography offers Vale + Vine readers a light and airy look that emphasizes orchard hues perfect for an engagement shoot, spring wedding, or bridal shower with fresh pinks, barely-there-blushes, a layer of straw and honey, and the overwhelming brilliance of a sunny white.  Of course, because the shoot was photographed on film, there is a softness, depth, and lightness that permeates the images, (not to mention a lack of harsh shadows) and details that might be lost to overexposure had the shoot been photographed digitally, are present because of of how film handles bright light.  For more spring wedding inspiration shot on film, you might want to check out Jenna Hill's Okanagan wedding in a nut orchard or this Meadow Inspiration shoot by Rebecca Yale.
