Adventurous Bruce Peninsula Engagement Session
While the West Coast of Canada get’s all the credit for adventurous tourism and rocky coastlines, some of the most stunning locations can be found somewhere more unexpected: Ontario! This engagement session from Andrew Mark Photography has all the adventurous magic. A stunning couple in love and a gorgeous location just a few hours outside of Toronto. Sounds like a match made in heaven, wouldn’t you agree?
THE LOVE STORY OF ASTRID & BLAIR
From the photographer: "From the moment Astrid first laid eyes on Blair she knew that he was her soulmate. She had a lovesick crush that consumed her for three-years! Whereas, Blair felt that because he was a leader at the company that they both worked for, she was strictly "off-limits". A story that he had to consciously remind himself of every day. As time stretched, they became the best of friends until one fateful evening Blair's curiosity got the best of him and he finally asked her out! Where she happily turned him down. Twice. She may have been madly in love - but he was going to have to learn early on that she was going to be a challenge. They dated for nine years and enjoyed travelling the world together. It was only befitting that they hold their engagement shoot in a beautiful and adventurous location such as Tobermory. The turquoise blue water was reminiscent of their trip to the Mediterranean, where they visited a vineyard in Tuscany and became the inspiration to their Niagara-on-the-lake vineyard wedding."
The best recipes for a stunning engagement session always include a bit of adventure (and a fabulous fine-art photographer, we think). So when tales of a road trip accompanied this engagement session sent to us by Vancouver-based film photographer Jenzel Velo, we knew this would be one to share. From the editorial vibes to the sense of being alone in the desert, we couldn’t keep our eyes off of these images.
