Bringing French Chateau Wedding Inspiration to Canada
The textures of a French Chateau are the perfect fit for a fine art style wedding. The delicate, romantic palette put together by planner, Shannon Bellisle, is one that truly never goes out of style. Just one look at the stunning lace bridal robe from designer By Catalfo and the gold detailed cake by Finespun Cakes and we were instantly transported to old world France with a hint of Versailles! We will be pouring over these images by Emily Jean Photography for the rest of our Friday, and won’t blame you if your plans are suddenly diverted for the day either.
From the planner, Shannon Bellisle: “Our focus behind this styled shoot was to create something that brought life & art into every detail. With a very French Chateau/English Countryside vibe behind the design inspiration, we knew that Graydon Hall was the perfect venue to bring this vision to life. We wanted to give the table a romantic garden look set indoors, bringing in gold wrought iron chairs and a round glass top table that was the host to a stunning garden floral piece which overflowed onto the table and down to the floor. The menus and place cards had a very organic look to them and were placed on top of these stunning blue peony chargers.
Our models are a real couple, so that made for easy romance throughout the entire day. We wanted our bride's dress to be different and somewhat regal, and this stunning look from Boutique 1861 only cost $118.00CAN.
The venue is adorned with so many beautiful chandeliers and crown moulding that we wanted to cake to be an artistic reflection of the space. Finespun Cakes truly outdid herself with so much detail into the cake design.
The entire shoot really has a romantic elegance about it, with unique touches that give it a true artistic feel to it. “
