Rugged Ontario Anniversary Session

This week Vale + Vine is dedicated its posts to romantic portrait sessions for those already married.  This anniversary shoot for Kevin + Jennifer by Julia Park Photography required a bit of a hike and a race against the light, but boy was the setting worth every stride.  Shot at the Bruce Peninsula National Park in southern Ontario, the rugged terrain showcases ancient cedars and massive dolomite limestone cliffs.  All natural beauty aside, something Jennifer said in a little write-up for their anniversary session stood out to me as one of the most beautiful reasons for choosing to do an anniversary session.  She said, "It's fitting once in a while to take photos of the two of you together that aren't selfies, so you can see yourselves growing old together".  How true indeed.  Many thanks to this lovely couple and Julia Park Photography for sharing these tender moments that acknowledge a lifelong commitment and vows that endure.  For more lovely anniversary inspiration featuring awe-inspiring landscapes, take a peek at this Oregon Coast anniversary session by Erich McVey or this Waterton Parks anniversary shoot by Marcie Meredith.
