Laid-Back + Intimate Farm Session
Natural, unfettered landscapes featuring an element of architecture are my favourite. And while I admittedly have more than my share of 'favourites', let me explain why the combination of land and architecture really is my MOST favourite type of backdrop or setting for a romantic shoot or wedding. When the two blend together harmoniously, like the warmly weathered barns set amidst pastel fields and gently sloping mountains featured here, there's a sense of endurance, compromise, and beauty that can unfold only when two distinct entities merge and grow to form one perfect vista. Much like what ideally takes place when two very different lives come together on one path and forge a shared future between them. The setting a couple chooses for their engagement session or wedding day truly does matter when it comes to image-making. The backdrop helps to tell a story, provide symbolism, and speak of the couple's relationship in a way that explicit descriptions cannot; a great fine art photographer knows this and can help you choose or create a setting that invites you to become part of a larger, more timeless piece of artistic expression. Many thanks to Adrian Photographers and real couple Britany + Clay for a laid-back yet intimate photo shoot that speaks volumes without saying a word.
