Wildflower Meadow Anniversary Session

I think it's fantastic that anniversary sessions are becoming more sought after these days.  Often once a couple has children, it's rare to see photos of just the two of them alone, so every time I shoot a family session, I always make sure to get a few shots of the parents sans kiddos.  They often tell me that the last time they had photos of the two of them together was on their wedding day.  Wow!  That being said, whether a couple has children or not, it's important to commemorate anniversaries and celebrate the commitment that each day of marriage requires.  They're great opportunities to dress up a bit and look good for one another, spend some concentrated time focusing on each other, and build some memories that will serve as visual reminders of your love.  Here's a sweet anniversary session for Phong + Linda by Ontario wedding photographer Kurtz Orpia.  If anniversary sessions interest you, here's one from Canadian photographer Jenna Hill shot in rural France, along with an Oregon Coast portrait session by Erich McVey for Canadian photographer Jessica Rose and her husband.
